With the end of Twilight drawing near, it seems like the supernatural field is clearing up a bit. After all, vampires are so . . . 241 years ago. Sure, there are The Vampire Diaries and True Blood, but I'm going to be bold: This trend is on its way out. So, who—or what—could take its place?

First up, werewolves. Jacob Black and pack are Twilight staples, and the new iteration is not so new—it's merely recycled. That said, with Teen Wolf, MTV transfers the beasts from big to small screen in the highest-profile push since Joss Whedon resurrected Buffy the Vampire Slayer for television.
