Beyoncé isn't shying away from the hyper-feminine, pink and blonde Barbie style that encapsulated all of 2023. Instead, she's bringing it into the new year.
The Renaissance megastar and couture icon joined her husband Jay-Z for a couples night out to attend LeBron James' Studio 54-themed birthday party. Beyoncé's ensemble for the evening could have been part of Greta Gerwig's blockbuster film Barbie. (Grammy-award-winning Barbie? Renaissance Barbie?)
The singer posted a carousel of photos to her Instagram on Friday night (sans caption, of course), showing off her custom-made pink mini Missoni dress. The brand described the dress's details as having “fuchsia hotfix all over and pink jewelry drawstrings." Queen Bey paired the dress with matching pink chunky pumps. But her diamond-embellished sunglasses truly stole the show as they glittered in photos.

Beyoncé's whole Barbie look was pulled together with her long, bleached blonde hair, which she debuted at the premiere of her concert movie, Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, at the end of November. Bey left behind her signature honey-blonde hair and has stuck with the platinum strands since then.
Barbie-core has lingered around since the critically acclaimed and commercially successful film was released over the summer. Varying shades of pink and doll-inspired styles have become more frequent on the runway and in stores. Meanwhile, the star of Barbie herself, Margot Robbie, has also stuck with the theme everywhere she goes.
On New Year's Day, Bey posted photos of her chic outfit that looked straight out of the 90s classic, Clueless. She wore a matching plaid skirt and blazer combo with a white corset underneath, topping the look off with white rectangular sunglasses, white heels, and a small white bag. The star also showed off her immaculate Christmas "tree"," which is essentially a Tiffany & Co. style structure with blue and white ornaments.
LeBron James' birthday party was a star-studded bash. Beyoncé and Jay-Z were pictured next to other A-list guests including Adele and Rich Paul, Kevin Hart, and more.
