While the Oscars feature high-octane glamour on the red carpet and history-making moments on stage, the VVIP after-parties (and the attendant extravagant outfit changes) are often just as memorable. One of the hottest post-show bashes in Hollywood for 2023? Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s soirée – with Rihanna and A$AP Rocky among the sea of star-studded names on the guest list. It goes without saying that Queen B, as hostess, chose a look guaranteed to command attention on the night.
The 41-year-old “Alien Superstar” singer wowed in a bespoke floor-length, crystal-encrusted Galia Lahav dress that left little to the imagination. To complete the glittering look, Beyoncé added drop diamond earrings and a pair of white satin sandals embellished with jewels.
Earlier that evening, the singer had worn a custom black velvet strapless Schiaparelli gown with matching opera gloves. Galia Lahav – a favorite of brides as well as music megastars (J Lo is also a fan) – shared portraits of Beyoncé in her custom look, as well as a behind-the-scenes snap of her kicking back over a pizza in her crystal-strewn gown.
