It was a Beyoncé show with a side of a football game.
The Cowboy Carter herself stepped out onto the field at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas on Christmas Day, December 25, to deliver an explosive performance fit for a queen. Being the musical legend that she is, Beyoncé performed a Super Bowl-worthy halftime show during the Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens game in her hometown.
Not only was this Beyoncé's first time performing songs from her Cowboy Carter album live, but she also surprised the audience with special guest appearances from Shaboozey, Post Malone, and her daughter Blue Ivy — who danced alongside her. Bey went through a medley of songs from her album, kicking off with “16 Carriages,” and making her way through the discography with “Jolene,” “YA YA,” “Levii's Jeans,” and more.
Beyoncé was glowing during the impressive set, wearing an all-white outfit complete with rhinestone chaps and a large cowboy hat.
Of course, it wouldn't be a Beyoncé public appearance without her announcing something — which is exactly what she did immediately following the halftime show — sort of. The superstar shared a video on Instagram of herself on a white horse waving an American flag, with the text on the screen reading “1/14/25.” The caption read, “Look at that horse.” Some Beyhive members are speculating that she's teasing a tour announcement — and they might be on the right track given that Live Nation retweeted her post. As with most things Beyoncé, we won't know officially until she allows us to.

And if you missed the “Ho Ho Ho-down,” Netflix announced that the full performance will be available as a standalone special coming soon.
Cryptic post aside, the halftime show brought out the best of the internet. The posts on X were exactly what everyone thought they'd be: dedicated fans showing how much they love Queen Bey. Here are some of the best ones:
