Beyoncé went full Alien Superstar for her London premiere of the Renaissance concert film. Within the last year, her fashion has been undeniable due to the world-renowned album Renaissance release and subsequent tour, but the multi-hyphenate continued to raise the opulence bar at her movie’s London premiere after-party.
Beyoncé wore a blinged out Balmain micro mini dress that flared outward on the front and rose up high on the sides, showing off maximum leg. The centerpiece resembles an intricate ring or broach spiraling out with several jewels, pearls and sequins. And while the dress is quite short it surely took some time to create with its meticulous design. The dress is quite a showstopper.
Balmain is clearly one of the singer's favorites in her fashion rolodex. Previously, she released a Renaissance couture line and collaborated with Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing to create 16 looks inspired by the songs from her album.
Beyoncé notably loves a concept and we’ve been receiving a galore of completed pieces following in line with her 2022 album release. From concertgoers to her on-stage outfits, we’ve been deep in the silver, sequined and southern couture realm for many months. It’s a quite expansive design experience and has led to a whole new era of Beyoncé. This after party look definitely takes the cake for being one of the most dynamic on the long list of creativity. Beyoncé finished off the outfit with a simple makeup natural beat and a pulled back, half-up, half-down hairstyle with the icy blonde she’s been wearing recently.
The Renaissance world film has seen quite the red carpet with a galore of stylish celebrities showing up for the premiere. All her premiere looks have been quite stellar, first starting with a Versace silver custom gown and then a Thom Browne original. In the last year, we’ve seen the overtaking of silver, partially due to the style cycle and potentially because of Beyoncé. Celebrities notably affect the trends we chase and this highly-respected and awarded album, in-part to Beyoncé’s concept, has blown up silver as a key color we’re all obsessing over right now. We wouldn’t be surprised to see a ton of blinged out recreations of her London after party look this holiday season!
