Since Beyoncé’s Renaissance album dropped in July 2022, at any given moment of the day, no matter where I am, I'll randomly sing, “Unique,” as if “Alien Superstar” is playing. I look a little something like this, and I know I'm not the only one. So, I was beyond delighted to see that Beyoncé fully embraced the word when selecting a manicure for her Houston tour dates. She went all out with silver talons that spelled “Unique” on the top and underside of each nail.
The talons were painted and sculpted by nail artist Coca Michelle, who is also Megan Thee Stallion's go-to manicurist. Upon closer inspection, Michelle created these nails on a pair of extravagant-looking, bedazzled, silver gloves rather than applying them directly to Queen Bey's nails. Michelle coated each long, pointy tip with reflective silver, which is basically the official color of the Renaissance tour, and attached bedazzled letters to each nail, to spell “Unique” on each hand.
Michelle also painted the underside of the talons pitch-black and using white polish, she wrote “Unique” again, adding one or two letters to each nail. When Bey displayed the underside of her nails, you could see the words written on each hand.

I had the chance to see Beyoncé's Renaissance tour performance in the summer, but I'm extremely jealous of everyone who got to attend her Houston shows because, of course, she gave some of the best performances in her hometown — and because the audience got to see this manicure in action. As far as I'm concerned, these (say it with me) unique chrome nails are easily my favorite Beyoncé manicure of all time.
