Who said bloomers were only a summer trend? Not BLACKPINK’s Jennie. The singer made the controversial style work for fall, and it might just be our favorite take yet.
Jennie uploaded a mirror selfie to her personal Instagram page, showing off her OOTD to see 2NE1, BLACKPINK’s senior group, in concert. She wore a brown knit sweater and layered it over a blue button-up top that almost perfectly matched her quilted denim Chanel purse. The focal point of the look, however, was her mixed print puffball skirt, which looked just like bloomers. The piece, which is from JADED London and up for sale for $72, featured a brown, white, and beige plaid pattern with blue and white striped lining, making them a perfect match for her tops of choice.
To complete the look, Jennie wore a pair of cool brown slouchy knit socks with a pair of dark chocolate brown boots. Is mixing undertones the next big trend of the season? Stay tuned to find out!

Jennie kept the beauty department quite minimalistic. She wore a flush of pink blush on her cheeks, a subtle cat eye, clustered lashes, and a pale pink lip. Her long black hair was slightly wavy at the ends, but she went on to wear a 2NE1 hat over it anyway. As for jewelry, she only opted for a small pinky ring, but her 2NE1 light stick added enough shine to the look.
Jennie isn’t the only BLACKPINK member making unconventional stylistic choices for fall this year. Jisoo also recently made an unexpected hair color change, just like Hailey Bieber. All four members recently attended Paris Fashion Week and made plenty of statements there, too. Jisoo opted for a sleek beauty routine, Rosé made a nightie chic, Jennie went blonde and pantsless, and Lisa traded the monochrome trend for an all-leather ‘fit instead.
It seems like we’re gearing up for an exciting fall season with BLACKPINK, and the fun will likely carry over well into the winter holiday season, too, seeing as Jennie, at least, has already gotten started with the festivities.
