Every season, we're always looking forward to seeing what BLACKPINK member Jennie will surprise us with when she attends the Chanel show in Paris Fashion Week. Jennie, who has been an ambassador for the brand since 2017, always pulls all the stops for her show looks, giving us everything from goth balletcore to cozy co-ords and flaming hot combinations. However, her transformation for the house's spring-summer 2025 show is, without a doubt, her most extreme to date.
It looks like Hailey Bieber is not the only one defying the norms and going lighter for fall. On October 1, 2024, Jennie attended the Chanel show in the French capital, swapping her trademark brunette hair for a platinum blonde ‘do. Jennie surprised everyone in attendance, arriving with fully blonde hair. We are pretty sure the hair change is courtesy of a wig, but it’s a great one if we say so ourselves.
Matching the wow factor of the 'do,' Jennie also decided to skip the pants for the occasion, instead opting for micro shorts in turquoise and black tweed, which she paired with sheer black tights and patent leather pumps with tiny CCs on the upper, Chanel's iconic signature style.
Jennie matched her patent pumps with a quilted hand-held purse in the brand's signature style. She also wore a long-sleeved cobalt blue knitted top with built-in knitted belts and flower detailing. On top, she rocked a long pearl necklace, which also featured the brand's interlocked Cs.
As far as beauty goes, Jennie kept things simple to let the hair shine, literally and figuratively, opting for a classic square-nail French manicure (because when in France!) and peachy blush and lips.
As evidenced by her PFW show, Jennie has been having a lot of fun with her hair lately. To promote her upcoming solo single, which she recently revealed will be called “Mantra,” the singer has also played with pink hair for a small teaser, which you can see below.

However, fret not because her trademark brunette seems to be going nowhere. Ahead of the Chanel show, Jennie also posted a series of snaps to her Instagram featuring her untouched hair, which she paired with a monochrome brown outfit for peak fall inspo.
She wore a loose-knit from Chanel as a dress with sheer tights, white socks, and loafers and tied it all together with an ombré 11.12 classic quilted bag from Chanel's Métiers d’Art 2023/24 collection. Judging by her caption, the cozy look was inspired by her dog, Kuma.

En route to Paris, Jennie also gave us another fall Chanel moment, rocking quilted brogues with white socks, leather mini pants, and a black cropped jacket worn over a burgundy cardigan. She completed the transitional look with a moon-shaped tweed bag featuring Chanel's classic CC clasp.
Whether she's at PFW or attending various events across the globe, Jennie has become synonymous with Chanel, and it's refreshing to see her reinvent herself with every look. Now, we can't wait to see what she comes up with next as she enters this new era.
