BLACKPINK's Jisoo is feeling curly. The musician transformed her hair from her usual straight styles to full-on ringlets for an upcoming fashion editorial and gave us a sneak peek at the process that brought the curls to life.
Jisoo shared tons of pics from the photoshoot on Instagram, including the Dior looks she wore for the editorial. (She's been an ambassador for the brand since 2021.) In a few pics, she's wearing her hair in long, soft, loose waves like a Renaissance maiden, with the front portion pulled up and back from her face. The waves are gorgeous, of course, but it's the ringlets that really made our jaws drop. (You can see them on the ninth slide of this carousel.)
In another series of shots, Jisoo wears a purple plaid romper with an exaggerated peplum and metallic silver cropped turtleneck layered over the top. (You can see them on the ninth slide of this carousel.)
Her warm brunette hair, which she dyed just a few weeks ago, is styled in big, full, fluffy curls, falling past her shoulders to mid-chest. While some of the curls were Jisoo's own, she shared a mirror selfie from the glam room, which you can see above, with a pile of curly extensions in front of her, giving her hair extra thickness, bounce, and luxurious curl. The final look could not be more breathtakingly romantic; she looks like a fairytale princess come to life — with a holiday twist.
Jisoo's high-fashion photoshoot is a complete 180 from another recent — but much more casual — look, centered around Alo's Main Act Corset Puffer jacket. Jisoo, who is also an ambassador for the athleticwear company, paired the cropped ivory puffer with loose-fitting trousers for a cozy-cool ‘fit. If Jisoo is wearing it, it’s safe to say we want it — and that includes her fairytale ringlets. Looks like it's time to pull out the curling wand and get to work!
