Jisoo of BLACKPINK has made her long-awaited debut at the Met Gala 2026. The South Korean singer and actor wore a custom Dior look on the event's red carpet, looking elegant as ever.
Dressed in a sequin and floral peplum look, Jisoo nailed the “Fashion Is Art” dress code. She styled the look with a choker, diamond earrings, and four elegant rings. During her red carpet interview she said the look took nearly 4-5 hours to put together.
The platinum diamond jewelry here was key, with intentionally chosen Cartier pieces that were all about longevity and history. Her pink choker is from Cartier Collection circa 1905 and her Cartier Collection Foliate ear clips are from 1948. Over a hundred years of history and design in just a few small pieces. It's beautiful to think of these being passed down and preserved, outliving generations as items of pleasure and beauty.
Speaking of: in the beauty department, Jisoo opted for a classic style highlighting pinks in both her makeup and her hair. She wore her hair in a low bun with long pieces in the front. On her eyes, she wore a winged liner with iridescent pink and white shimmery eye shadow. She completed the look with light pink blush and lipstick. The exact products are Rouge Dior Blush in 475 Rose Caprice and Dior Addict Glass Lipstick in 405 Rosy Dior.
Jisoo has been a regular at Paris Fashion Week as an ambassador for Dior and made her New York Fashion Week debut as a Tommy Hilfiger ambassador, so it was only a matter of time before the K-pop and K-drama star cemented her fashion status by walking the famed steps at the Met Gala. The star often experiments with different aesthetics in fashion and beauty, always making her one to watch in the front rows of fashion week, so attending the Met Gala seems like perfect way to further cement her status.
Now that Jisoo has made her first Met Gala appearance, all four members of BLACKPINK have made it to fashion’s biggest night. Rosé, wearing Saint Laurent both times, made her Met Gala debut in 2021 and returned in 2025. The stars aligned when Jennie debuted in 2023 for the “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” theme in vintage Chanel as a brand ambassador. She returned in 2024 wearing Alaïa, then wore Chanel again in 2025. Lisa first attended last year in Louis Vuitton. For the K-pop group’s dedicated fans, BLINKS, tonight marks a major milestone!
