This year is shaping up to be a year of first for BLACKPINK’s Lisa. The Thai superstar started off 2024 with a new entertainment company of her own, a new acting gig, and now, possibly some new ink too!
The K-pop idol seems to have gotten a new tattoo courtesy of artist Gunhyo Park, who is also known as 8P. A few weeks ago, the tattoo artist shared a black-and-white photo of the fresh ink on his Instagram page. In thin cursive lettering, the tattoo reads “lloud.” In the comment section of 8P’s post, Sorn, a member of CLC and one of Lisa’s longtime friends, reacted with the clapping emoji.

More recently, 8P posted a series of photos with Lisa and LLOUD tagged. The first is a picture of two Polaroid photographs with Lisa, and the second is a snap of the tattoo sketched on the stencil paper.

Earlier this year, Lisa announced that her new artist management company is named LLOUD. On Instagram, she wrote, “Introducing LLOUD, a platform to showcase my vision in music and entertainment. Join me on this exciting journey to push through new boundaries together.” Similarly, the website reads, “Embrace the beginning of the LLOUD era with us.”

Going back to the ink, this wouldn’t be Lisa’s first tattoo, and it wouldn’t be the first time she’s worked with 8P, either. Previously, Lisa had two other tattoos done by 8P. In March of 2023, we saw a glimpse of a small tattoo on her back, thanks to her Harper’s Bazaar Singapore photoshoot. 8P reshared the magazine cover, writing, “Her tattoo from me.” A month later, he also posted a picture of Lisa performing on stage with BLACKPINK to his Instagram story, highlighting part of a subtle ribcage tattoo seen through the mesh paneling on her bodysuit.
We got to see Lisa’s back and rib cage tattoos in full back in early January of this year when she celebrated New Year’s on the beach. For the occasion, she wore an eye-catching bright yellow Louis Vuitton string bikini that showed off her ink. She posed for a series of photos, displaying both the flower tattoo on her back and the butterfly ink on her ribcage.
It seems like Lisa is continuing to expand her tattoo collection as she builds her new company as well.
