Looking for a way to glam up your outfit without going too over the top? Take a cue from BLACKPINK's Lisa, who just proved that sometimes all your look needs is a thin matching scarf.
Lisa looked like a 2024 Disney Princess come to life for the F1 Grand Prix in Las Vegas, wearing a casual-but-chic outfit of light-wash bootcut jeans and a rust orange silky blouse, paired with a matching scarf in the same rusty copper color worn around her neck. (Minus her Louis Vuitton pants, Lisa's fit was entirely Ferrari.)
Atop the blouse, Lisa wore a long, slightly oversized blazer that hit at mid-hip and finished off her racetrack look with a pair of flat black boots and a black top-handle bag. The skinny scarf eliminated the need for jewelry and added visual interest to the simple outfit, and all it took was a simple strip of fabric!
The outfit is obviously going on our winter mood board, but the glam details should not be overlooked either. Lisa's hair was giving full-on princess, styled in big, bouncy, bombshell waves with soft, piecey bangs, and she wore a flick of black cat-eye liner and lots of mascara for a super-fluttery lash.
BLACKPINK's Lisa loves a good scarf moment and knows firsthand how versatile the accessory can be. Recently, she and her dog Love twinned in matching Louis Vuitton scarves, and over the summer, she used a scarf as a belt for her micromini skirt.
Silk scarves were the reigning accessory of summer 2024, and both celebs and regular folks like us were wearing them everywhere, including around their heads and on their bags. LE SSERAFIM's Yunjin wore one tied around her neck like a bow, while Megan Thee Stallion wore her green silky scarf around her head, Old Hollywood-style. The trend shows no signs of slowing down, so it's a great time to add a few scarves to your holiday wishlist!
