BLACKPINK's Rosé made her way to Los Angeles this week to take part in the celebrity-filled events leading up to the Oscars.
Most of Hollywood's biggest names are in town in anticipation of the star-studded weekend celebrating achievements in film — the 2025 Academy Awards. The K-Pop star was among those who attended a special pre-Oscars event hosted by Vanity Fair editor-in-chief Radhika Jones and Saint Laurent creative director Anthony Vaccarello. Rosé joined others including Olivia Wilde, Zoe Kravitz, Kaitlyn Dever, Wednesday star Hunter Doohan, Ruth Negga, and more for the chic sitdown dinner ahead of the award show on March 2, 2025.
Rosé came decked out for the occasion in an all-Saint Laurent outfit, including a stunning embellished jacket from the brand's Summer 2025 collection. The singer layered the jacket over mismatched fabrics including a sheer blouse that created a unique textured effect. The green mini skirt clung to her thighs, revealing black thigh-high tights with a lace trim.
Rosé kept her long, bleach-blonde hair straight and parted slightly to the side (okay, millennial) and wore light makeup with a peachy-nude lip. She shared her outfit and a photo of her name at the dinner table on Instagram, tagging creative director Vaccarello. She also posed next to other YSL muses including model Anja Rubik and Zoe Kravitz.
Rosé is no stranger to major celebrity events like this one. The pop star opened up about going to the 2021 Met Gala, Celebrating In America: A Lexicon Of Fashion, and meeting Rihanna for the first time. While wearing Saint Laurent, Rosé said she briefly met Rihanna on the red carpet, who embraced her and said she was a fan. "I didn't know what to say,” Rosé said. “I remember being sad washing my hands.”
The BLACKPINK star recently celebrated her 28th birthday on February 11, by embracing the controversial socks with sandals (heeled, from Saint Laurent, of course) look. She made the footwear style look effortless and chic, much like Bella Hadid and Sydney Sweeney's take the trend.
