On October 15, the BLACKPINK star arrived at “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” (or “Jennie Kim-mel Live!” as they’ve joked on socials) effortlessly rocking charcoal-colored low-rise parachute pants featuring brighter blue cotton sweatpants on the rim, peeking out. She paired the statement double pants with a simple white Jean Paul Gaultier logo tee and topped it all off with black platform loafers. Not only is the ‘fit' giving comfy vibes, but of course it is also simultaneously stylish. And in true Jennie style, it is the perfect balance of streetwear meets chic.

Jennie later continued to put the “Kim” in “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” with a live debut performance of her newest solo single, “Mantra.” The K-pop star changed for the performance, giving us more style inspo, this time wearing a white Latex Monique C'est Chic! Tank Top by Monique Fei, and she completed the look with black bloomers featuring silverware and black thigh-high boots. This is that pretty-girl mantra. Not to mention, her highly anticipated solo single “Mantra” is already topping the fan-fave charts just days after its release.

Despite 2024 continuing to be a busy year for Jennie, she effortlessly reaffirmed her status as a trendsetter earlier this year with her runway debut at Jacquemus’s La Casa cruise show in Italy. In her cover interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she called the moment a “dream come true” and that “Simon [Porte Jacquemus] is just the best to work with.” One thing is certain: we expect that Jennie will set more trends and continue putting her own twists on existing ones.
