Summer may not be quite over yet, but we already have some fall fashion inspiration thanks to BLACKPINK’s Rosé.
As part of Rimowa’s latest campaign, Rosé made her way to New York City for the luggage brand’s "Seit 1898" 125th anniversary event. The Seoul-based K-pop singer stepped out in a trendy monochrome outfit in a mocha hue that is perfectly fitting for autumn.
Rosé wore a sparkly dark brown halter top with matching sheer tights, which almost looked like a jumpsuit. However, it’s hard to tell for sure because she layered an A-line mini skirt over the look. The skirt was a velvety material that added to the fall vibes. (And best of all, it had pockets!) To complete the outfit, she wore a pair of patent platform heels from Giuseppe Zanotti, adding another shiny element to the already dazzling outfit. You can never have too much shimmer in your life!
For balance, Rosé made her glam and accessories more simple. Like her outfit, she kept her eye makeup to a neutral palette and instead, opted to add a pop of color to her look with her soft pink blush and lipstick. She parted her platinum blonde hair ever so slightly to the side and positioned her face framing strands across her forehead like side bangs. Though the BLACKPINK members have been known to have extravagant manicures, this time, Rosé kept it simple with a plain white color that fits the recent milk nails trend. As for jewelry, she skipped all but a couple of silver rings.
As it so happens, this isn’t the first time a BLACKPINK member gave us seasonal style inspiration with a monochrome look. In late August, Jennie shared a few snaps of her monochrome sweater vest look that gave us the perfect formula for a summer-to-fall outfit.
Mocha has also been a trending color as of late. It’s a mainstay of the latte makeup trend that’s been taking over TikTok. Selena Gomez, who collaborated with BLACKPINK for the hit song “Ice Cream,” also wore a mocha manicure back in late June.
It seems like a new trend is underway, so we’ll definitely be pinning Rosé’s look to our fall mood boards.
