No, it's not Chuck Bass. Sorry.

For fans of Gossip Girl, there's one item that's more iconic than the rest — yes, even more than Chuck's signature scarf — and that's Blair Waldorf's headbands.

From the pilot episode, Blair's many, many headpieces set the tone for who she was as a character. Whether nestled in a pile of perfect curls or topping a flawless blowout, they told the world that she was Queen B. Who could forget the knotted gold number she wore to get back with Chuck, or the bejeweled band she used to crown Little J as her successor?

Now, after a few years spent banished to the back of drawers, this truly iconic accessory is back. Vogue writes about the return of the headband, spotted at Sonia Rykiel's pre-fall 2016 show. The key this time around is to styling it with a cool jogger, or a crop top, to keep things from feeling too stuffy. And the ultimate endorsement for bringing back the 'band? “The headband is so French. It’s classical chic but twisted,” says Sonia Rykiel creative director Julie de Libran.

So even if it means stowing the tights and putting away the curling iron, it's still time to channel your inner Blair Waldorf for your next night out. Maybe leave the mean girl attitude at home, though!
