A special guest has just arrived on the Met Gala 2026 red carpet! It’s none other than Blue Ivy Carter!

Alongside her mom, Beyoncé—who is serving as a co-chair tonight and making her grand return to the Met Gala red carpet after a decade—Blue Ivy made her Met Gala debut. She wore a white bubble-hem gown by Balenciaga with a matching white jacket featuring a large popped collar. She styled it with black sunglasses – that she wore throughout the red carpet moment, a diamond necklace, and rings by Simuero.

The standout piece, though? A pair of silver crystal pumps by Jimmy Choo, which retail for $4,900.

For glam, Blue Ivy wore her signature honey blonde hair. It was the perfect style to frame her simple makeup, which included light blush, bringing a flush to her face. She wore light pinkish-brown lipstick.

On the carpet, Beyoncé opened up about what it meant to have Blue Ivy there by her side. Saying in her interview that the best part of the night was just that. “I think it’s really just experiencing this through the eyes of Blue and being able to relax,” she said.

Over the years, Blue Ivy has become a style star in her own right. She may take inspiration from her mom, as she did on the stage during the Cowboy Carter tour and courtside at a basketball game, but she’s been experimenting with her own style, too, bringing a Gen-Z flair to the Y2K resurgence.

She’s been on a roll lately. Last month, she stepped out in a casual and cool '90s-inspired outfit, complete with a denim bag, baggy jeans, and merch of…herself. In February, she went to the Super Bowl sporting shield sunglasses with a trendy denim bag in the popular Balenciaga Neo Cagole City silhouette, which North West also sported later on, solidifying the It bag status.

Tonight’s appearance expands Blue Ivy’s portfolio of red carpet looks. She stunned in a gold Christian Siriano dress at the premiere of Mufasa: The Lion King. Although she technically didn’t walk the red carpet, she’s stolen the show at the Grammys—twice: The first time she wore a dreamy Vivienne Westwood dress; the second time, she wore a deep blue gown by Naeem Khan.

At just 14 years old, Blue Ivy is proving to be a style icon in her own right.
