Bretman Rock may have risen to fame through his beauty tutorials, but he has also become a fashion icon along the way. From fashion shows to red carpets, the star isn't afraid to make a statement. His latest is a pair of platform boots that are so high, they put my GPA to shame.
While out and about during a recent trip to New York City, Bretman donned a chic outfit, perfect for spring. He wore a Chopova Lowena mesh cardigan and pleated skirt, an Alaïa heart-shaped bag, and the star of the show: bigger-than-life platforms from Harry Halim Paris.
The shoes feature black heels, zippers, and lace-up backs that contrast the white crocodile embossment of the boot. This isn’t the first time Bretman donned a pair of Harry Halim Paris boots. In fact, the brand shared the details of Bretman’s latest shoes as well as some previous styles he sported.
Bretman’s NYC outfit was styled by Brian Meller and photographed by Michael Stweart. Bretman shared some snaps from the photoshoot on Instagram, showcasing the outfit. “Wanted to wear something airy and breezy so my *s$ can breathe,” he wrote in the caption.
This is just the latest of Bretman’s eye-catching outfits from his NYC trip. He started off with an oversized 'fit with a Balenciaga logo tee and wide-leg jeans with panels, a Diesel blazer, and Eytys platform sneakers. At the airport, he also carried a Telfar bag, fitting for a trip to the iconic designer’s city, and Balmain sneakers.

Bretman later hopped on the Y2K trend with a look fit for a pop star. He wore a Ludovic de Saint Sernin fishnet top, distressed jeans from Junya Watanabe, a Coperni bag, and Chrishabana cuff. He finished the look with Dior slim shield sunglasses, a seemingly popular choice among celebrities these days.
All in all, it was a successful visit — in terms of fashion, at least. We’re not sure how long Bretman will be in New York City before returning to his home in Hawaii, but we’re grateful for the spring and summer style inspo he gave us during his stay. Surely, he’ll continue to share his stunning sense of style in the future, but we enjoyed the city vibe while it lasted.
