Ever since his military discharge, BTS's Jin has been pretty busy with fashion collabs aplenty (he's since become an ambassador for Gucci, Alo Yoga, and Fred Jewelry) and Run Jin episodes. However, it looks like the star also found time to hit up the studio in between, and his first solo offering of this new era has now arrived in the form of new single “I'll Be There.”

Jin's “I'll Be There” officially arrived on October 25, 2025, with a performance music video that sees him accompanied by a live band as more and more people join his “impromptu” performance under a bridge. The pop-rock track draws elements from rockabilly and is anchored by electric guitar strums, drums, and bass, with Jin's infectious vocals taking center stage.

For BTS's Jin, “I'll Be There” is a sonic deviation from his previous solo songs, which tend to be more on the ballad side (see “Tonight,” “Abyss,” and “The Astronaut”), except for the viral “Super Tuna,” which recently got a new extended version with a special video to boot. However, thematically, it falls in line with Jin's feel-good repertoire, where hopeful lyricism is always the protagonist, upping the ante with happier-than-life sensibilities. (Think Pharrell's “Happy,” but make it Jin.)

Fittingly, “I'll Be There” is the first track off Jin's forthcoming solo debut album Happy, slated for a November 15 release. The album, which was announced on October 14, 2024. A few days later, BigHit Music unveiled the tracklist for the album, which will include main track “Running Wild,” as well as “I'll Be There,” “Another Level,” “네게 닿을 때까지" (retitled as “Falling” in English), “Heart on the Window” featuring Red Velvet's Wendy, and “그리움에" (also retitled as “I will come to you").

With Happy, Jin will become the last BTS member to release his solo debut album. To celebrate the momentous occasion, he will also hold a two-day special stage live event in Seoul's Jangchung Arena.
