Calvin Klein just dropped another campaign featuring BTS member Jungkook, and we also spotted a throwback styling hack that has been building up momentum for a comeback.
On February 24, Calvin Klein dropped the new photos taken and directed by Mert Alas, which show brand ambassador Jungkook modeling a few different outfits. “The looks I wore for this campaign nod to ‘90s style while feeling completely modern,” Jungkook said in the press release.
One style, in particular, caught our eyes. Posed against a fuzzy orange carpet with a retro vibe, Jungkook wore a Calvin Klein “CK” logo t-shirt over a long sleeve top. Simple but effective, this layering hack that was super popular in the ‘90s and early ‘00s, especially in punk and grunge subcultures, and as other styles from then saw a resurgence, it was only a matter of time before this one did too. With punk aesthetics gaining momentum, it might just be this trend's moment, especially now that it has Jungkook's stamp of approval too.
Jungkook’s take on the look is a bit more subtle than some of the high-contrast pairings worn back then. He made it monochrome for 2026, layering two white tops. Bringing some dimension to the look, he wore a pair of faded black jeans, which matched his jewelry and piercings. (In typical Calvin Klein style, the logo waistband underwear peeked out too.)
For the other looks in the campaign, Jungkook wore varsity, trucker, and leather jackets over a tank top. He also wore a Canadian tuxedo and skipped a shirt all together. Each outfit, however, was centered around the jeans. He donned the '90s straight and baggy styles, in case you’re looking to expand your denim collection ahead of the new season. Though winter’s not over quite yet, it looks like we already have some spring styling inspo thanks to Calvin Klein and Jungkook. Or, perhaps, this might be your concert outfit inspo, as the highly anticipated BTS tour is right around the corner.
