The BTS x FILA Saga continues! The FILA global brand ambassadors are partnering yet again for a military-inspired capsule collection called Project 7. Launched in the U.S. on December 1, the fall collection is packed with utility-inspired workwear and outerwear set to a neutral color palette — beige, black, and military greens.
BTS have been brand ambassadors for FILA since last fall. They partnered with them and Urban Outfitters on a space-inspired Voyager Collection in July but Project 7 marks their first official capsule with the sportswear brand. However, the collection, modeled by all seven members, might look familiar to fans already. And that's because it's been making the rounds on social media for a while. BTS's Project 7 campaign was first introduced to the Korean market in September and is finally making its way stateside.
Centered around comfort and practicality, the Project 7 collection features cold-weather pieces like parkas and quilted jackets, t-shirts, and hoodies for layering, as well as utility-centric accessories, like shoulder bags, belt bags, and hats. Within many of the pieces is a modern, geometric take on the traditional camouflage print, as well as touches of military-inspired details, like patches and velcro fasteners. The textiles, fabric, and loose-fitting silhouettes are very reminiscent of military-issued uniforms and modern utility wear.
And a FILA collection with BTS would not be complete without sneakers. The collection includes four dedicated styles for featured footwear: Project 7 Iteration Light, Project 7 Court Ace P7, Project 7 Wavelet Alpha, and Project 7 Curvelet.
