When BTS shows up, it's always a good time — even if the appearance is only a few seconds long. At Oscars 2022, fans were excited to see the group in a short spot celebrating their favorite moments from movie musicals over the years.
The movie that immediately came to the members' minds? 2017's animated film Coco, which Jimin cheered for in the segment. "It's a real masterpiece," RM continued. “I watched it three times and I cried a lot.” (Jimin, however, said he didn't cry at all.) V chimed in, “Truly Pixar is unbelievable.”
J-Hope added, “Overall, I like Disney movies,” to which Jin responded, “Disney movies stimulate emotions well.” And he's exactly right. J-Hope tossed out Aladdin as a fave, and RM praised Will Smith for his role in the film. While Jungkook and Suga's thoughts on the subject didn't appear in the video, it was a great full circle moment for Suga's manifestation skills. He has previously said BTS should go for the Oscars next — and his predictions do tend to come true.
