With the success of the hit Korean series Lovely Runner, actor Byeon Wooseok has had an eventful year, but it’s not over quite yet. The K-drama star is taking on a new role. He has just been appointed as a new brand ambassador of Italian luxury fashion house Prada.
On November 4, the label’s official Instagram account posted a series of photos of Byeon modeling a suit featuring an asymmetrical blazer over a baby blue button-down top and trousers. The caption read, “Prada is pleased to announce Byeon Wooseok, Korean actor, as Prada’s brand ambassador.”
Byeon is best known for his acting career. In addition to his main role in Lovely Runner, he also made a surprise guest feature in No Gain, No Love this year. Previously, he starred in the series Record of Youth and Strong Girl Namsoon and the tear-jerking film 20th Century Girl, both on Netflix. Now, it seems his latest endeavor is the world of fashion.
Byeon is no stranger to the Prada family. He previously attended the brand's spring-summer 2025 menswear fashion show in Milan last June. There, he wore a sweater layered over a button-up top and tie, accented with a statement square belt. He’s also been spotted sporting the brand at events and on his Instagram page.

With Byeon's announcement, Prada grows its celeb-studded roster of brand ambassadors. Other stars repping the fashion house include K-pop idols ENHYPEN, NCT's Jaehyun, aespa's Karina, Thai actor Win Metawin, British actor Louis Partridge, as well as U.S. actors Maya Hawke, Kelvin Harrison Jr., and more.
As Byeon Wooseok takes on this new role for Prada, he's likely to attend even more shows, star in campaigns, and sport plenty of new looks, so stay tuned.
