Camila Mendes is engaged!
The Riverdale star shared that she will be marrying actor Rudy Mancuso on Oct. 25, sharing a few sweet photos of the proposal on her Instagram. “engaged to my best friend 🥹💍” she captioned the post.
Their engagement has sparked many others to gush about the couple, including other fan-favorite actors. From Love, Simon's Katherine Langford to Lana Condor of To All the Boys I've Loved Before, several stars took to the comments to share their well wishes.

“Yeeessss congratulations bb,” Vanessa Hudgens wrote under the post. “You guys ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor said.
And, of course, the iconic Riverdale cast chimed in with their support. “Love you so much, my cami ❤️ congratulations to you both,” Lilli Reinhart wrote. “Omg. Stunning. So happy for you!!!! 😭🤍💍🙏🏽,” Vanessa Morgan added.
Apparently, the engagement was a surprise, according to one of Mendes' representative, who spoke with People Magazine shortly after the announcement.
“She thought she was going to a birthday party for producing partner Rachel Matthews, but it was a surprise engagement party instead,” the representative said. “Rudy proposed to her in front of their family and friends.”
Mendes first went public with her relationship in November 2022, after she posted a photo dump on Instagram with a snapshot of Mancuso kissing her forehead that caused fans' heads to spin. The two met on the set of Música, which Mancuso also wrote and directed. They have been dating for three years.
“Cami is the best person I've ever met,” Mancuso told Entertainment Tonight in a red carpet interview posted Oct. 25. “She's my best friend, she uplifts me, her work ethic is even stronger than me. I don't think I've ever been with someone who inspires me this much, so to have that be reciprocated, and have her support me — it's usually her on the screen, she's way, way better looking and way more charismatic than I am — so having her here makes me feel safe.”
