Get ready to rock on because Camp Rock 3 is taking us back to our favorite musical summer camp, over 18 years since the first movie hit our screens.
Camp Rock 3, the follow-up to 2008's Camp Rock and 2010's Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, was first announced in the summer of 2025, and it has finally locked in a release date with a new trailer to boot. It seems like it will include everything from surprises for longtime fans of the franchise to new interlinked storylines for a new generation of viewers.
Directed by Veronica Rodriguez and written by Eydie Faye, both known for The Slumber Party, Camp Rock 3 brings back the Jonas Brothers as both stars and executive producers, the latter alongside High School Musical's Tim Federle, Demi Lovato, and more. The movie will also feature choreography by Jamal Sims.

When does Camp Rock 3 come out?
After much anticipation, Camp Rock 3 will premiere on August 13 exclusively on Disney Channel. The movie will be available to stream the next day on Disney+.
What is Camp Rock 3 about?
Camp Rock 3 will take us back to Camp Rock, introducing us to a brand-new generation of campers and reuniting us with some of our faves from the originals. The official synopsis for the movie is as follows: “When Connect 3 loses their opening act for a major reunion tour, they return to their beloved Camp Rock to discover the next big thing. As campers vie for the chance to open for their favorite band, tensions rise, and friendships are tested—leading to unexpected alliances, revelations, and romances.”
Who is in the cast of Camp Rock 3?
The cast of Camp Rock 3 includes a mix of new and familiar faces. A handful of actors from the original movies reprise their roles for the threequel, including Joe Jonas as Shane Gray, Nick Jonas as Nate Gray, Kevin Jonas as Jason Gray, and Maria Canals-Barrera as Connie Torres.
New faces include Liamani Segura as Sage who's described as “bold and determined,” Malachi Barton as “camp bad boy” Fletch, Lumi Pollack as “cello prodigy” Rosie, Hudson Stone as Sage's “easygoing brother” Desi, Casey Trotter as Cliff described as “a drummer with his own beat,” Brooklynn Pitts as “choreo queen" Callie, Ava Jean as “intimidating influencer” Madison. Ella Lucas and Orlando Lucas also join the cast as Danielle and Daniel.
Rounding off the cast is Sherry Cola as Lark, who's apparently sent to Camp Rock “to help prepare the campers vying to be Connect 3’s opening act.”
Is there a trailer for Camp Rock 3?
Yes! Following a short teaser featuring the Jonas Borthers (as Connect 3), Disney unveiled the first teaser trailer for Camp Rock 3 on July 1, ushering in the summer season. In the trailer, which you can watch above, we get to see Connect 3's arrival at camp looking for the next star. It gives as a first glimpse into the new generation picking up the baton at Camp Rock while also serving as a sneak peek of what's to come musically. (More on that below!)
Aside from the teasers, Disney has also given us a handful of first-look photos from the movie teasing even more the dynamics between the characters. In the pics, we can see Connect 3 arriving at camp, the campers mid musical numbers, and get a peek at Sage and Fletch getting up close and personal by the lake. You can see all the images below:
Will Camp Rock 3 have its own soundtrack?
Much of the appeal of the original Camp Rock movies was its musical numbers. The soundtrack of the movies became as popular as the movie itself, with the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato offering live renditions of standout tracks like “This Is Me,” “Gotta Find You,” and “Wouldn't Change a Thing” decades later, so, of course, Camp Rock 3 will also have its own soundtrack. But that's not all, Disney has also confirmed that Camp Rock 3 will also include songs from the original movies and past Connect 3 performances.
While the full soundtrack is being kept under wraps until the movie's premiere, the first single, “One Beat Away,” was unveiled with the first teaser trailer. The song is performed by Liamani Segura, who stars as Sage, and the rest of the cast. The digital soundtrack will be released on August 13, with a vinyl version slated to follow shortly after for collectors.
