We don’t have to guess the color of Charli XCX's underwear — SKIMS made it quite easy to know what’s going on down there. The pop icon and brat summer catalyst has been tapped as to front SKIMS's latest campaign promoting the brand's new cotton line.
If you’ve been living under a rock (maybe even a coconut tree) or you’ve chosen to be incredibly offline this summer, then you probably won't know that Charli XCX has been having the summer of a lifetime after releasing her latest album, brat, back in early June.
Since then, the pop star has seen an influx of fame, so it’s only right she got a coveted leading slot in a SKIMS campaign. The popular shapewear and intimates brand led by Kim Kardashian has made a reputation for always being on top of the hottest trends in pop culture, tapping key stars who, much like Charli, are the moment, from Bridgerton's Nicola Coughlan to soccer player Jude Bellingham and even Sabrina Carpenter for its campaigns. SKIMS is just as chronically online as we all are.
In the latest campaign, Charli XCX poses wearing the shapewear brand’s brand-new cotton run and cotton fleece styles. The campaign was also shot by resident it-girl Petra Collins, who seems to be photographing all our faves.
“SKIMS empowers people to feel confident in their own skin, which is the essence of brat,” Charli XCX said about her SKIMS debut in a press release. “I am excited to be working with a brand that understands that comfort and style don’t need to be compromised. Shooting with Petra for this campaign was a dream, and I was so excited to get on set and wear these timeless, sexy pieces. Also, the puppies were beyond cute.”

Charli will continue her musical world domination with brat performing at some of the largest arenas in the U.K. in November. She'll then make her way to the States and start her performances with longtime collaborator Troye Sivan for their highly anticipated co-headline tour Sweat, kicking off September 14th. As her star continues to grow, we expect to continue to see Charli flow easily into the high-fashion space.
