Whether you live in New York City or just love it from afar, Coach's latest sneaker launch is about to let you in on a little slice of the city's past. The Soho sneaker is a cross trainer, reminiscent of the ones popular in NYC street style in the ‘80s and early ‘90s. It features the brand's iconic “C” logo on the outside, and a map of the city on the sole. You can even switch out the resin charms to make it your own (with options of dice, taxis and other nostalgic items).
What's more is that the shoe is made with 100% recycled polyester lining, recycled laces, a recycled nylon tongue, and a recycled rubber insert and recycled rubber logo. “The Soho Sneaker feels deeply rooted in the spirit of New York City—dynamic and on-the-go," Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers said in a press release. "I was inspired by the way today’s generation are exploring and redefining the traditional codes of luxury, and their fluid approach to personal style."
The sneakers first debuted on the runway at the brand's Spring/ Summer 2025 show at Hudson Yards where models wore a distressed version of the shoes with several of the looks.
Sitting front row during last week's Autumn / Winter 2025 show, model and former second-daughter Ella Emhoff, paired the Soho sneakers with a brown suede suit, high socks and sheer tights.
Other versionsm which come in black, brown, blue, patchwork and more, are sure to fit into any look your dreaming up after this onslaught of NYFW style inspiration. The Soho sneaker is now available with prices ranging from $145-$175.
