It's official: Connor Storrie has made his debut on fashion’s biggest night! The Heated Rivalry star just arrived on the Met Gala 2026 red carpet in New York City on the first Monday of May, and he's already mogging everyone, to be honest. For the special occasion and in keeping with the “Fashion Is Art” dress code, honoring the new exhibition theme “Costume Art,” he donned a classic all-black suit with a whimsical touch.
“I’m not nervous,” Connor Storrie told Vogue on the official livestream about his Met Gala debut. He also joked about doing the iconic Met Gala selfie with a new crop of people: “We're gonna recreate that tonight.”
Storrie attended the Met Gala tonight as a brand ambassador for Saint Laurent, so he’s repping the French fashion house with his look. He wore a suit jacket and trousers with a polka-dot scarf. He opted for a few well-chosen accessories, styling the look with earrings and a shiny double brooch situation. For a final touch, Storrie wore his signature blonde curls in an almost baby bang, finger-curled to perfection for a sleek finish.
And then he went on the green carpet and removed his jacket to reveal…the scarf was actually a cute little halter top! Versatile king.
After a momentous start to the year following the success of Heated Rivalry, Storrie’s Met Gala debut was highly anticipated by fans. He kicked off a red-carpet run at the Golden Globes, with an edgy new hairstyle, and continued his awards-season run at the SAG Actor Awards and Vanity Fair’s Oscars Party. He also carried the Olympic torch, became a YSL brand ambassador, and hosted Saturday Night Live, to name a few other recent major milestones. So, climbing the famous carpeted stairs of the Met Gala was a natural next step for the star.
Dedicated fans were probably not surprised to see Storrie on the Met Gala red carpet tonight. This weekend, the actor made a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live, which is filmed in New York City, so they knew he was in the area as Gala approached.
