Known to truly commit to the bit, Doja Cat is back on the red carpet for the Met Gala 2025. For this year’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” and dress code “Tailored for You,” the singer opted for a very fitted look, leaning into the pantless trend.
Dressed by Marc Jacobs, Doja Cat wore a padded blazer-type bodysuit. She wore some ultra high platform heels. She styled the outfit with large dangling earrings and a chain necklace for accessories.
“I feel like I've been inspired by the '80s lately, so this is what I wanted to incorporate,” said during the Met Gala red carpet livestream.
As for beauty, she went with a very thin eyebrow with a shimmery eyeshadow. She wore her hair in picked out afro-style look. To complete the look, she added a touch of color with burgundy lips.
This isn’t Doja’s first time making a splash at the Met Gala. Last year, for the “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” theme, she opted for a wet look with a daring sheer t-shirt dress and makeup running down her face. She opted to do a big outfit transformation in the car ride there and walked out of the Mark Hotel with a towel around her hair and body instead. The year before, she upped the ante by dressing up as Choupette Lagerfeld, the late designer Karl Lagerfeld’s beloved cat, complete with prosthetic makeup and totally in character — she purred her way through red carpet interviews.
