After spending the past year spewing inflammatory rhetoric aimed at people of Mexican heritage and promising to build a wall across America's southern border to keep Mexicans from entering, presidential nominee Donald Trump made the unexpected announcement that he's taking a trip to the country on Wednesday, reports The Washington Post.

Actor, director, and producer Rob Reiner tweeted a reference to Trump's false 2015 claim that Mexico wasn't "sending their best" to America, but rather "They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists."
