Dua Lipa is having a year of hair transformations. First, the pop star went cobalt blue as Mermaid Barbie for this summer's blockbuster hit. Then, there were her new bangs (which coordinated with a relationship hard launch) at Cannes. Now, Dua Lipa has transformed into a golden blonde with bangs for the meta spy film Argylle, which comes out in February of next year.
This isn't the first time we've seen Dua with either short or blonde hair — during her Future Nostalgia era, the singer rocked a two-tone dye job a la Debbie Harry, and then there was that show-stopping Donatella Versace moment at the 2022 Grammys. And while her thick, dark hair has been past her shoulders for a minute, she's had a bob a few times in the past.
We're assuming that much like her Mermaid Barbie transformation, this blonde hair transformation is a wig. Perhaps it's just one of her many disguises as a bombshell spy for the film? Guess we will have to wait until February to find out.
