Dua Lipa is really taking the sheer trend seriously these days — even her shoes are sheer!

In a brand new Instagram post, the pop star went sheer all the way down to her footwear, wearing a head-to-toe see-through white look that blended lingerie, sheer, and mesh textures. Lipa poses near the water in a bright white boatneck dress with grommet details at the waist, layering the see-through piece over a matching white bra and underwear. She then paired all that sheerness with thigh-high white mesh boots with garter belt straps. (She's seems to be on a bit of a boot kick this summer.) I'm honestly a little confused at the mechanics of said boots and if they actually attach to the undies (it appears they do), but you know what? It's a look!

Lipa kept it simple and styled her sheer lingerie look with chunky silver earrings and a silver ring, and wore her hair down and casual. She piled on the blush for a super trendy strawberry girl flush but otherwise wore minimal makeup to let the sheer dress-over-lingerie moment really shine.

Celebs have been all about see-through, transparent textures as of late, including Dua Lipa herself. The fabric has basically become a cornerstone of the musician's wardrobe and a pivotal part of her style evolution. Lipa has donned plenty of sheer pieces onstage. Recently, she went full goth glamour in a lace gown-jumpsuit hybrid. Showcasing her duality, she also gave the sheer trend a sparkly twist with her metallic dress at the Barbie Los Angeles premiere. We have also seen Lipa try her hand (literally) at sheer accessories, like opera-length gloves, and layering, pairing see-through textures with net and crochet for a twist on the monochromatic look. If it's sheer, Lipa is probably wearing it — and we're loving it.
