If you follow Emma Chamberlain on Instagram, you probably know that she loves sunglasses. The 18-year-old YouTuber is often seen wearing shades of all shapes, sizes, and colors, so it makes perfect sense that she decided to launch a sunglass collection of her own.

On Friday, September 27, Emma announced that her collaboration with Crap Eyewear is officially available to purchase. “I am so proud of every pair we created,” she wrote on Instagram. “I feel like they are my children.”

The Emma Chamberlain x Crap Eyewear collection boasts six different pairs of sunglasses ranging from $75 to $89, with two new signature shapes designed by the YouTuber herself. According to Crap Eyewear’s website, one frame was even named after Emma’s cat, Oliver, and features (naturally) a cat-eye structure.

In an interview with Refinery29, Emma explained that she wanted to create attention-grabbing sunnies, gravitating towards bold colors and unique shapes. “I enjoy glasses that when someone's wearing them, you're like, Oh, that's almost a statement piece,” she said. “I wanted to make glasses where somebody, instead of being like, Wow, that's a cool shirt, someone would be like, Oh wow, those are some sick shades. I wanted to have statement glasses and also bring back some more retro vibes.”

Emma may be stepping into the fashion industry, but don’t expect her to exit the YouTube world anytime soon. “I don't want to stereotype, but I think some people do tend to use [YouTube] as a launching pad and that's totally fine,” she told Refinery29. “That's totally their journey. For me, because I've been such a YouTube lover since day one, I want to continue doing YouTube but also branch out and do other things simultaneously.”
