Although you wouldn't know it if you were tuning into the televised Emmy Award's red carpet special, where much the time was devoted to highlighting strappy stilettos on E!'s shoe cam, Hollywood's raddest women revealed way more than the designers behind their fancy dresses during tonight's pre-show.
Twitter teamed up with The Television Academy and Amy Poehler's Smart Girls organization to ask attendees — women, in particular — about more meaningful things than the usual "So, how long did it take you to get ready?" on the red carpet. Using the hashtag #SmartGirlsAsk, fans and stars alike submitted questions for their favorite stars.
