On September 30, 2025, TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) made a pit stop during their Act: Tomorrow world tour to stop by the UNICEF headquarters in New York City to attend the launch ceremony of their new joint campaign advocating for youth mental health — and they took Teen Vogue along for the ride with a series of exclusive photos and quotes.
TXT arrived at the UNICEF headquarters in matching black suits, where leader Soobin delivered a speech onsite, and the members participated in a Q&A session with UNICEF young leaders after being introduced by actor Justin Min, a US UNICEF ambassador himself, as well as UNICEF executive director Catherine Russell. The quintet has joined forces with UNICEF to launch a new global campaign called “TOGETHER FOR TOMORROW,” in partnership with UNICEF and the Korean Committee for UNICEF, which aims “to support the mental health and well-being of youth worldwide.”
“It was a tremendous honor to be invited to the UNICEF headquarters and to deliver a speech in front of many distinguished guests and young adults,” Soobin tells Teen Vogue. “As we addressed in our speech, I believe it is crucial to raise our voices in support of positive change for mental health. Through both our music and our partnership with UNICEF, we are committed to continuing our efforts to empower youth. We are honored to become official partners with UNICEF. Empathy has always been an important part of what we share through our music, and this campaign gives us the chance to share that value with even more young people.”
“Meeting and speaking with executive director Catherine Russell, and launching the campaign in the presence of other distinguished guests and UNICEF young adults was an incredible experience,” Hueningkai adds. “Gaining insight into the perspectives of the UNICEF family at the headquarters was both educational and inspiring. This experience motivated us even more to raise awareness about mental health and reminded us how much of a difference empathy can make in the lives of youth everywhere.”
As shared by BigHit Music, the new campaign “highlights empathy as the foundation of mental health, encouraging open conversations, reducing stigma, and empowering youth to build resilience.” The brand shares the ethos that merges well with TXT, since they “champion the value of empathy and togetherness through their music.”
“We are deeply grateful to launch a campaign with UNICEF on an issue that we truly care about,” Taehyun tells Teen Vogue. “We have long emphasized the importance of sharing emotions and the power of empathy. Through this campaign, we hope to encourage young people around the world to freely express themselves and find meaningful ways to care for their well-being. This is just the beginning of our journey with UNICEF, and we will continue to raise our voices so that empathy and mental well-being can be part of every young person’s story.”
“Our music reflects the experiences of today’s youth,” Yeonjun continues. “We address the pains, worries, and aspirations of our generation. We strive to be genuine in our music and make music that people can relate to and feel understood.” The star also added that the new campaign is “a natural extension of this mission we’ve pursued since our debut.”
Last but not least, Beomgyu adds: “We firmly believe that supporting the mental health of youth is essential. Through this campaign, we hope to emphasize that everyone can contribute to this movement in their own way — by building supportive relationships and nurturing considerate interactions. We believe that through collective effort, this campaign will help build a more empathetic future for youth around the world.”
The partnership between TXT and UNICEF includes a $1.4 million funding commitment backed by the group's label, BigHit Music, which will go towards programs dedicated to adolescent well-being. The group will also launch joint global awareness campaigns with UNICEF aimed at breaking the stigma surrounding teens seeking mental help.
