Eyebrow trends are one of the easiest ways to experiment with beauty — no haircut required. A quick swipe of gel, a lighter tint, or even a change in shape can instantly transform your entire look.
While eyebrows might not be the first thing you instantly notice when you look in the mirror, they can have a major impact on your face — and on how you express your personal style. As we head into 2026, eyebrow trends are embracing that flexibility more than ever, with looks that range from bold and laminated to soft, effortless, and intentionally undone.
From thin, straight brows to fluffy, feathered ones, here are five eyebrow trends you’ll definitely be spotting everywhere in the new year.
1. Straight brows
KATSEYE’s Manon Bannerman arguably popularized the straight brow trend, and it’s certainly not going anywhere in 2026. “Those straight, natural Korean-style brows are going to be very popular,” Chanel brow artist Jimena Garcia tells Teen Vogue.
To straighten out your natural brows, Beverly Hills-based celebrity makeup artist Michal Cohen recommends using a pencil — like the Urban Decay Brow Blade 2-in-1 Eyebrow Pen + Waterproof Pencil or NYX Fill & Fluff Eyebrow Pencil Pomade — to define the brow.
2. Fluffy brows
Fluffy, feathered brows are another eyebrow trend that will always be in vogue, especially because they complement so many different face shapes and help provide a more fresh-faced look.
To achieve the trend, Cohen recommends getting a brow lamination and soft tint the next time you pay your brow artist a visit. “It’s a quick and easy way to achieve a thicker, fuller brow that you can repeat bimonthly,” says Cohen.
To maintain the look at home, she loves using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze Wax or e.l.f. Brow Laminating Gel for a quick fluff and the e.l.f. Wow Brow Gel or Glossier Boy Brow for a little tint.
3. Thin brows
Thick eyebrows not really your thing? Don’t worry — ’90s and Y2K-inspired thin brows will also be maintaining their comeback in 2026. “Believe it or not, but clients — especially ones on the younger side — are requesting thin brows again,” celebrity brow artist Damōne Roberts tells Teen Vogue. His clients are asking for both arched and straight thin brows, depending on their personal preference.
Want the look of thinner brows without actually reaching for the tweezers? Give them a more sculpted look with a strong-hold gel like the MAKE Beauty Infinite Hold Sculpting Brow Gel, advises Garcia. “It’s perfect for taming and shaping them just the way you want.”
4. Natural brows
If you’re not really into maintaining your brows, fear not — natural brows are always effortlessly chic and cool. Combined with recent makeup trends, it adds a carefree yet confident vibe to the look. “A few errant hairs that follow the natural growth of the brow will always trump a perfectly groomed brow,” says Cohen.
To maintain your natural brow, less is always more. “Just let the brows do their thing,” she explains. “You can still get them groomed regularly by your favorite brow artist, but try not to touch them yourself in between sessions.” In other words, put down the tweezers!
5. Lighter brows
Bleached brows were everywhere in 2025, but a subtler take on the trend that works for everyday style while having a similar effect is lighter brows. A lighter version of your natural color embodies an almost ethereal vibe, says Garcia.
She recommends using a lighter-tinted eyebrow gel and a bit of powder or cream highlighter on top to enhance that airy, luminous finish.
