The extras: the lace Maison Michel masks that closed the show would be so chic for a masquerade ball, no?!

More shoes: Forget blue suede shoes. The new Wu thing is blue satin ones, complete with his signature cigarette heel.

The supermodel: the incomparable Karlie Kloss posing for backstage photographer extraordinaire Greg Kessler. Work it, Karlie!

The closer: Karlie's BFF Jourdan Dunn closed the show--and changed out of her fuchsia dress before I caught up with her. Wu hair and makeup, though, are still intact.

The man: no rest for the weary! As soon as the runway show ends, the interviews begin. Here's Jason talking to Bergdorf Goodman's Linda Fargo. I'm not sure what he told her, but here's what he shared with me about the inspiration for fall 2011: "I was really inspired by the Robert Polidori book on the restoration of Versailles. As soon as I saw it, I knew that was it. I wanted to translate that to clothes. So I did that by taking lace apart and putting it back together, or taking jewels apart and putting them on a wool parka. I love the raw elements, visible construction. The collection is about taking those two completely opposing elements and marrying them together." His post show plans? "I haven't eaten in two days," he told after sitting down for a well-deserved lunch following the show. "I'm ordering buttermilk marinated chicken." Bon appetit!
