Congratulations are in order for Skai Jackson! The former Disney Channel star has announced that she is expecting her first child with her boyfriend.
Jackson confirmed the news to People on November 12, saying, "I'm thrilled to begin this new chapter in my life — embracing motherhood and diving into new acting projects. My heart is so full!”
While Jackson did not publicly share the name of the baby's father, a due date, or any potential baby names with People, the star appears to be pretty far along in her pregnancy judging from the exclusive maternity photos she shared with the outlet.
In the photos, Jackson wears a cute white button-down crop top, low-rise jeans, a leopard-print purse, and black booties, clearly taking a page from Rihanna's innovative maternity fashion book. The news wasn't a complete surprise, as blogs recently spotted Jackson out and about in a form-fitting hoodie with her boyfriend and again holding her belly while wearing an oversize flannel shirt in late October — leading fans to speculate that she may be expecting a baby.
Skai Jackson rose to fame as Zuri Ross on Disney Channel's Jessie, starring Debby Ryan, and its spinoff series Bunk'd. In 2019, Jackson published her first book, Reach for the Skai: How to Inspire, Empower and Clapback, and in 2020, competed on Dancing with the Stars, making it to the semi-finals. Most recently, she appeared in the 2023 movie Sheroes and made a cameo in Keke Palmer's 2023 Big Boss short film alongside other former child stars Kyle Massey and Robert Ri'chard.
