A teenager in Germany was arrested on suspicion of plotting a terrorist attack, NBC News reported on May 30.
A 17-year-old reportedly staying at a center for migrants and refugees was detained by German special forces early Tuesday morning, NBC News said. The teen was reportedly arrested just after he "sent a goodbye message to a family member," German police told NBC. He was allegedly planning a terrorist attack in Berlin.
This arrest comes after more than a dozen people were arrested in connection with the terrorist attack that killed 22 people in Manchester, England during an Ariana Grande concert.
