Gigi Hadid is not here for fictional drama. With one simple comment, the model has swiftly and unequivocally shut down rumors that she and her friends are not happy about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship.
On November 9, Perez Hilton (yes, he's still around) published an article claiming "Gigi Hadid 'doesn't agree with the way' Taylor Swift is handling [the] Travis Kelce romance." The post cited an anonymous insider's quote to Us Weekly that said, "One of the reasons Gigi hasn't attended any of Travis' games is because she doesn't agree with the way Taylor has been acting with [him]." The source also claimed Hadid felt like Swift was "doing too much, too soon." And, well, the model says the claims couldn't be further from the truth.
Gigi Hadid herself took to the comment section of Perez Hilton's Instagram account to clear the air. "I'm a couple [of] days late to this tag, but didn't the press try this last week [with] Selena?" the supermodel commented on the post promoting the article, which showed the same headline. "Let it be. We are all over the moon for our girl. Period," she continued, adding a heart-in-flames emoji, seemingly shading the post's caption, which used the same emoji and read: "Wait, really? But isn't #GigiHadid moving swiftly with #BradleyCooper too?"
The "press" Hadid was referring to was a Page Six report that also cited unnamed sources claiming Selena Gomez had concerns with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's whirlwind romance. "Selena thinks Taylor going to games and gallivanting through New York immediately after just meeting Travis is something that is very unlike her," the source reportedly said. “Historically, Taylor's always been super private about everything, and now with this [relationship], she's so open about it that it's just very odd for Selena.”
Immediately after the report was published, it was refuted by fans (and even DeuxMoi) who argued Gomez would likely never say something like that about her bestie, and, well, it seems that this new comment from Swift's other bestie now fully backs this up.
