All you need is love! The famous Beatles quote seems to be a perfect fit for Gracie Abrams and Paul Mescal, who is soon to step into the shoes of Paul McCartney for Sam Mendes' four-film biopic. On February 2, 2026, Abrams posted the sweetest tribute for her very own Paul, marking the first time the singer has been this publicly affectionate with her partner.
To celebrate Mescal's 30th birthday, Abrams took to Instagram to share a rare glimpse of their relationship with fans via a photo carousel, which included multiple snaps of the pair kissing. “P❤️ Clemmy❤️ My whole heart!!!!!!!!! I love February 2… Happy birthday❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️I love you both more than words could ever describe. Thank you for making everything better,” Abrams wrote in her captions, and, well, we just can't help but swoon!

July 2025: Gracie Abrams and Paul Mescal cozy up during Noah Kahan's performance
As Gracie Abrams makes her way around the festival circuit this summer, Paul Mescal hasn't been far behind. After making her Glastonbury debut at the end of June, Abrams stuck around the U.K. for The Secret Life of Us tour.
On Friday, July 4, Abrams joined Noah Kahan on stage during his set at British Summer Time in Hyde Park, London, to sing their song “Everywhere, Everything.” The pair rocked the massive crowd before Abrams departed and joined the audience herself with boyfriend Paul Mescal.
In fan footage from the concert, Abrams and Mescal can be seen dancing and looking adorable as they watch the concert. At one point, they share a kiss as Mescal wraps his arms around her. The cute video comes shortly after Abrams posted Mescal on her Instagram for the first time.

June 2025: Gracie Abrams and Paul Mescal make things Instagram official after Glastonbury
Gracie Abrams made her Glastonbury debut on June 27, 2025, and she made sure to have Paul Mescal along for the journey, even posting a video and a photo of the two together to her Instagram for the very first time — a major milestone in their relationship.
The couple was spotted enjoying their time together all throughout the duration of the famed festival, with Abrams reposting a video of herself on top of Mescal's shoulder during Olivia Rodrigo's set to her stories, which you can rewatch here.
Abrams and Mescal were joined by the actor's siblings Nell and Donnacha Mescal during the festival, as well as Normal People's co-star Daisy Edgar-Jones and her partner Ben Seed, and they made the highlights in multiple of their friend group's Glasto recaps. Comedian Chelsea Handler also posted a selfie with Abrams and Mescal, posing alongside designer Stella McCartney, on her Instagram. Mescal also made it to Abrams' Instagram grid, where she shared a selfie of the two lounging together.
Aside from enjoying the festival together, Mescal also supported Abrams during her own set. The Irish actor was spotted by the side of the stage while she sang "I Love You, I’m Sorry," and she seemingly dedicated one of the “I love you” lines to him by gazing side stage with a smile, as you can see below:

May 2025: Gracie Abrams supports Paul Mescal at the Cannes Film Festival
As noted by E! News, Abrams was in the South of France to support Mescal at the premiere of his movie The History of Sound. The couple didn't walk the red carpet together, but Abrams did walk separately in a black Chanel gown and was seen a few rows back from him at the premiere.

The musician, known for her confessional lyrics about love and relationships, told Cosmopolitan that to her, love feels like “home." (Abrams did not specifically mention Mescal.)
