On August 28, Hailey demonstrated the simple trick on Rhode’s Instagram stories. The model started off by applying a layer of her brand’s Barrier Restore Cream (BRC). The recommended time to let the product soak in, according to Rhode’s founder, ranges from 5 to 15 minutes. As a second and final step, Hailey then ran her hands under water before wiping away any excess product. The final result was, as she put it, a “glowy, delicious skin” that makes a perfect pre-makeup routine.
In a YouTube video uploaded a few weeks ago, Hailey had already introduced the BRC as the second step of her skincare regime. “The reason that it's called the barrier restore cream is because we really wanted to focus on making a face cream that was really easy for every single day use. It’s a super beautiful hydrating cream that is great for keeping your skin hydrated,” she gushed. On Rhode’s website, the skincare product is described as a “POWER-PACKED formula,” and a “peptide powerhouse” ideal to comfort and soothe the skin.
In addition to the Barrier Restore Cream, Hailey’s three-step routine also includes Rhode’s Peptide Glazing Fluid and Peptide Lip Treatment.
