Emo-pop rockers Hey Monday released their latest album Beneath It All this past summer and the group are currently on a cross-country tour to support it. Here’s Alex Lipshaw, our guitarist, tuning his guitar during sound check--this was in St. Paul, MN. A fun fact about Alex is that he can’t play with his mouth closed. Look up any picture of him on stage and he’s mouth is wide open!
There’s me, watching We Are The In Crowd at The Rave in Milwaukee, WI. I remember being really out of it that day, hence the red bull you can see me holding. I also remember wearing that hoodie and not getting recognized until I took the hood down to take this picture. Thanks Teen Vogue!
Look at that dent! Last night I woke up to a huge screech and thought we had gotten in an accident. Turns out we hit a deer! Can you believe a deer can cause that much damage to a tour bus? The bigger question is, is that deer still under the bus?! Haha just kidding.
Sound check is one of the most crucial things for us. We don’t all have in-ear monitors, so it’s very important that we get all of that situated before the show. Thankfully, we’re headlining on this tour, so we get a sound check everyday! As you can see, we’re all pretty focused.
