If you are looking for your next mani set, look no further than Hibiscus Nails. With a mix of tropical pink, lagoon green, and orchid purple, this new summer manicure trend has everything you need to become a new fave.
Now that 3D nail art has reached our favorite salons, we've noticed a whole new wave of creativity in manicures. One in particular is the 3D flower nails that have dominated our Insta feed and FYP.
Hibiscus nails and other beachy flower nails, like orchids, have emerged as one of the biggest (and most mood-boosting) nail trends of summer 2024. They're heavy on tropical escapism and vacay vibes, which is exactly what we need, even when we're clacking away on our keyboards in the office.
It's also an opportunity for nail artists to flex their creative talents. One creator, Anouska Anastasia, took followers behind the scenes of her tropical 3D flower mani to show the intricacy and artistry that can go into creating a bespoke floral mani.
She hand-painted each petal onto a clear sheet using white gel polish from OPI's new GelColor Intelli-Gel range (which she cured to set), then used a fine detailer brush to add in all the details. She used tweezers to curl the center of her flowers to create a realistic-looking orchid.

Likewise, nail pro, Mel, at @overglowedit, showed how she used blobs of sculpture gel that she flattened with a silicone nail tool and moulded to create a hibiscus shape, before using nail polish to dust in the yellow centre.

As Anouska pointed out in her video, mother nature really slayed with the inspo, so it's not surprising we've seen gorgeous renditions of orchid and hibiscus nails everywhere. Here are six more of our favorite ways to wear them…
