H&M Just Made a BOLD Statement in the Plus-Size Debate

And it involves Ashley Graham.

H&M just made a powerful statement about the plus-size debate, without saying anything at all. For their non-plus-size campaign for H&M Studio, they chose Ashley Graham, a model and advocate for body positivity that's typically only booked for plus-size gigs. The message? Let's do away with labels once and for all.

H&M Studio continues to be a pioneer when it comes to inclusion. On the Fall 2016 runway, the Swedish fashion chain featured models of varying sizes, races and gender identities. This campaign is a major step forward in the fight for fair and equal representation for all.

It's our hope that more brands follow H&M’s lead by abandoning labels and choosing representatives who resonate with the customer in unique ways. And it helps, of course, that Ashley looks absolutely stunning in the campaign.
