Have you ever watched a horror movie and instead of feeling completely disgusted by the actions of the villain, understood where they were coming from? If so, then you’re not alone.
Some of the backstory about these characters are very relatable — so much so that each zodiac sign can identify with their underlying feels (except for the haunting, killing, and possession part of their actions). As you celebrate this haunted season with Halloween movies and shows galore, read on to see what horror movie villain aligns with your zodiac sign.
Aries
Winning isn't everything — but it is to every Aries, and Patrick Bateman. Both have an innate need to climb the corporate ladder, rub elbows with the elite, have the best of everything (this includes business cards, fancy lunch dates with the most popular peeps in their crew, and reservations at trendy restaurants), and act out crimes of passion.
Taurus
One of the worst things you could do to a Taurus is wake them up from their slumber. The vampire Lestat de Lioncourt selfishly wants to continue playing rock music, and this makes Queen Akasha wake up from a century long sleep. That's why she’s so cranky and hell bent on taking back control of Lestat, the vampire community, and destroying everything standing in her way — a sentiment any Bull can relate to.
Gemini
We all have two parts of ourselves. Gemini totally gets that notion, since they are the twinstar of the zodiac. This movie plays upon the idea of honoring the shadow self and true self, by having "the Tethered" and the OG versions of the humans come face-to-face in this tale that will remind Gemini to honor both aspects of their personality at all times, unlike Adelaide and Red (who are the same, but not really).
Cancer
Cancers and babysitters are known to be nurturers. On a bad day, they fantasize pact with the devil (let’s use the suspension of disbelief here) to stop the drama and emotional seesaw that they encounter to lead a more fulfilling life. Well, Bee is living proof (in this flick) that it can be done. However, she didn’t realize that her emotional manipulation wouldn’t work on her latest victim, which is her demise. Sound familiar, Cancer.
Leo
When Sachiko Shinozaki was alive, she was a reclusive student. In the afterlife, she’s the life of the party and one of the evil ghosts who wants to be laid to rest after a lifetime of loneliness. As one of the most popular signs of the zodiac, Leo can totally relate and feel sympathy for someone (even an evil spirit) who doesn’t have many friends. Plus, they get the desire to haunt others for attention.
Virgo
Being an extremely intellectual sign, Virgos are known to play mind games. After all, they are ruled by trickster Mercury, who uses its wits and brains to outfox others — especially when being a part of a game. However, they’ll really enjoy being the one making the rules (like the Gamemaster in this film) to see how everyone squirms out of life threatening situations to solve the puzzle that’s laid out in front of them.
Libra
As a true believer of fairness, Libra will go to any length to preserve the scales of justice — even if that means plotting revenge for over a century to take back power and liberty for those who are the victim of social and economic injustice. Being that supernatural Candyman is more than a myth (the tales are real), Candyman’s last words are “Tell everyone!” (which is what any communicative air sign would totally say).
Scorpio
Hell hath no fury like a Scorpio or evil spirit scorned. Not that Scorpio wants to do harm, but they will surrender to fits of jealousy, rage, obsession, and revenge — all of which Kayako (she becomes possessed by the energy of the house and later ascends to be an onryō) acts out because she was done wrong. Like Scorpio, Kayako holds onto the grudge to get payback on those who have caused her harm.
Sagittarius
Like the fire sign Sagittarius, Pennywise has the ability to shapeshift and change reality. Although a Sagittarius can’t actually do those things, their mutable qualities give them the abilities to connect with the immediate surroundings around them and to be open to new experiences — which is kinda like the way Pennywise torments its victims. Plus, the clown persona resembles the archer’s ability to make others laugh or cry — even in their worst moments.
Capricorn
Being that Capricorn is a sea-goat, it’s apropos and logical that the earth sign would align with the billy goat from The Witch. Like Capricorn, the billy goat has an intense and meditative side in which he plots and plans how to dominate the world — but in this particular case it is a family, and a young girl that he wants to become a witch. After all, the billy goat is the devil in disguise.
Aquarius
Aquarius likes discussing conspiracy theories, extraterrestrials, and a whole array of unconventional topics. Even though Aquarius is a peaceful and kind sign, this air sign has no problem discussing controversial matters and playing devil’s advocate. Therefore, it’s no surprise that they’ll vibe with The Xenomorph from the movie Alien. Besides the sinister intentions of The Xenomorph character, the water-bearer will find the motives of the character intriguing, unique, and wild — like the sign Aquarius.
Pisces
No one is safe when the great big shark from Jaws is swimming in the water, except for Pisces who are the fishes of the zodiac and use their intuition (like the shark) to float away from danger. This villain will make Pisces think twice and watch their backs before jumping into the ocean without a care in the world. Now, they’ll take greater notice of their surroundings and apply it to their intuitive sentiments.
