The 2024 Paris Olympics kick off on Friday, July 26 on NBC and Peacock…let the games begin! Team USA and the biggest sports stars from around the world are set to attend the official start of this year’s Summer Games at the upcoming Opening Ceremony.

Hosting from the US, Kelly Clarkson along with NFL legend Peyton Manning and Sunday Night Football's Mike Tirico will host the ceremony.

According to a press release from the Olympics hosts, “For the first time in history, the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games will not take place in a stadium. On 26 July 2024 … thousands of athletes will parade in boats along the Seine, the river that flows through Paris, in front of hundreds of thousands of spectators.”

When Are the 2024 Paris Olympics?

The 2024 Summer Olympic Games begin on July 26 with the Opening Ceremony and last for two weeks, ending on August 11 with the Closing Ceremony.

Where Can I Watch the 2024 Summer Olympics?

NBC and Peacock are the homes of the 2024 Paris Olympics on TV and streaming respectively.

You can stream the 2024 Paris Olympics on the Peacock app, NBCOlympics.com, NBC.com, the NBC app, and NBC Olympics app. Every event from the Paris Olympics will be broadcast live on Peacock, on the new 2024 Olympics hub with interactive features, updated athlete standings and more.

On TV, NBC will cover the most exciting events, including gymnastics, swimming and track and field. NBC will also showcase an Olympics primetime show each night.

Watch the Opening Ceremony live on Friday, July 26, on NBC and Peacock beginning at 12 p.m. ET. Telemundo will provide Spanish-language coverage beginning at 1 p.m. ET. Primetime coverage starts at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and Peacock.
