Who is hosting the Oscars 2026?
The 2026 Oscars are, once again, hosted by comedian Conan O’Brien. O’Brien made his debut as a host during the 2025 ceremony, taking over from Jimmy Kimmel, who hosted in 2024, 2023, 2018, and 2017. From 2019 until 2021, the ceremony had no official host. The 2022 ceremony was hosted by Regina Hall, Amy Schumer, and Wanda Sykes. The official Oscars 2026 red carpet show will be hosted by Tamron Hall and Jesse Palmer.
Who is presenting at the Oscars 2026?
Plenty of actors are serving as presenters at the Oscars 2026. First, the Academy unveiled an initial list of presenters, which included Will Arnett, Adrien Brody, Javier Bardem, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Kieran Culkin, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Anne Hathaway, Chase Infiniti, Mikey Madison, Paul Mescal, Demi Moore, Kumail Nanjiani, Gwyneth Paltrow, Maya Rudolph, and Zoe Saldaña.
Closer to the ceremony, the full list of presenters was unveiled with Rose Byrne, Nicole Kidman, Jimmy Kimmel, Delroy Lindo, Ewan McGregor, Wagner Moura, Pedro Pascal, Bill Pullman, Lewis Pullman, Channing Tatum, and Sigourney Weaver joining the previously announced names.
Also, English actor, comedian, writer, and musician Matt Berry will serve as the announcer for the Oscars 2026 ceremony.
Who is performing at the Oscars 2026?
Raj Kapoor, executive producer and showrunner for the Oscars, alongside fellow executive producer Katy Mullan, announced that the music performances for the 2026 Oscars were “inspired by two of the most powerful cultural phenomena in film”: Sinners and KPop Demon Hunters.
They continued, saying, "These show moments are more than just performances—they expand into cinematic tributes that celebrate the relationship between music and storytelling and why these films resonated so deeply with audiences around the world.”
As far as the KPop Demon Hunters performance goes, you can expect to see Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami—a.k.a. the singing voices of HUNTR/X—taking to the stage to perform “Golden,” which is nominated for Best Original Song.
The Academy has also further shared that their performance “begins with a fusion of traditional Korean instrumentalists and dance, celebrating the folklore and cultural inspiration that anchors the story behind this animated blockbuster.”
Representing Sinners, Miles Caton will take to the stage to perform “I Lied To You,” with Raphael Saadiq, who co-wrote the song with Ludwig Göransson. “I Lied To You” is also up for Best Original Song during the ceremony
Caton and Saadiq will be joined on stage by Misty Copeland, Eric Gales, Buddy Guy, Brittany Howard, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Jayme Lawson, Li Jun Li, Bobby Rush, Shaboozey, and Alice Smith. Per the Academy, the performance “explores the role music plays in the film’s storytelling and translates this into a cinematic live moment on the Oscars stage.”
Additional appearances by Josh Groban and the Los Angeles Master Chorale have also been confirmed, and more talent is expected to be announced closer to the ceremony.
