The nominees for the 2024 VMAs were first announced in mid-August, with none other than Taylor Swift leading the pack with a total of 12 nods. Who is hosting and presenting at the 2024 VMAs?
The 2024 VMAs will be hosted by Megan Thee Stallion, who is also set to take the stage as a performer. The star-studded list of presenters at this year's VMAs include Halle Bailey, Paris Hilton, DJ Khaled, Fat Joe, July 2024 Teen Vogue cover star Jordan Chiles, Amelia Dimoldenberg, Big Sean, Addison Rae, Alessandra Ambrosio, Cyndi Lauper, Sasha Colby, Busta Rhymes, Carson Daly, Damiano David of Måneskin, Miranda Lambert, Flavor Flav, Tinashe, French Montana, DANNA, Lil Nas X, Naomi Scott, Suki Waterhouse, and Thalía.
How can I watch the 2024 VMAs?
The MTV VMAs will not have an official streaming platform this year, and will not be available to stream on MTV.com or Paramount+. However, the 2024 VMAs will be available to watch next-day on-demand, on Paramount+ on September 12.
The 2024 VMAs will be broadcast live on MTV and all Paramount channels — including BET, BET Her, CMT, CC, Logo, MTV2, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, Pop, TV Land, and VH1 — on Wednesday, September 11 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. MTV has also partnered with TelevisaUnivision to host a live simulcast on Univision.
Using your cable provider login information, you will also be able to stream the 2024 VMAs on any of the previously named channels: BET, BET Her, CMT, CC, Logo, MTV2, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, Pop, TV Land, and VH1.
You'll also be able to stream the 2024 VMAs by tuning into any of the aforementioned channels via a multitude of streaming platforms: Hulu+ (which offers a free, one-week trial), fuboTV, YouTube TV, or Sling TV.
