It seems a little early to be thinking about your Halloween costume already, but hear us out. We recently came across a 15-year-old special effects artist whose ideas are so inspiring that we’re pretty much already planning our costumes for the next decade. Popsugar unearthed the work of Kate Werner, AKA @beautygonebad. The talented teen is a “self taught makeup shapeshifter,” which we’d call a 100% accurate description. Her feed completely blew us away – and if you’re anything like us, you won’t be able to stop scrolling. She's experimented with transformations ranging from the glam (Selena Gomez) to the terrifyingly gory, so there's no shortage of inspo, whatever your aesthetic may be. We rounded up eight of our favorite looks below, so start double tapping and saving to your Halloween inspiration board immediately!

Here’s her body paint rendition of Mystique. That vermillion lip is something we'll probably be recreating way before Halloween rolls around.

If you’re spending Halloween playing PokémonGo, why not wear makeup to match? We love the white underliner, cat flick combo.

This mermaid makeup is seriously pretty – note the multicolored, shimmery overlay on her eyebrows. Now that’s commitment to detail.

We already thought this Frozen-inspired look was all kinds of cool. Then, we found out she made every single icicle accessory with a hot glue gun. One question: how?!

Of course, she’s tackled the classic Halloween skeleton as well. Her secret weapon? NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk.

How amazing is this spider suit, smoky lip combo? We love that it combines a night-out look with full-on body paint. Who says you can’t have the best of both worlds?

This Stranger Things-inspired look might be the winner. Personally, we’d opt to buy the clothes, but Kate revealed in a previous post that her ensemble was “entirely made out of water activated bodypaint.” We’re officially blown away.
